"FIREFIGHTER"
Dash was outside playing on Sunday, March 26th when when heard him yelling "fire". We ran outside and sure enough our neighbors bush was on fire. The fire department was called and they came out on a big truck. The fire fighters actually let Dash and I ride on the truck, and Dash got to wear their hat too. I have never wished more that I had my camera on me. He was so cute! For days all he could talk about was fire and trucks. He kept telling me that he wanted to be a Firefighter. So last Tuesday I took Dash and Miley to the fire truck museum in Down Town Columbus. It was SO FUN! We were the only ones there, and the kids had the run of the place. They let the kids ring the fire house bell. They had a great play area where the kids got to dress up, slide down a pole and drive a fire truck. You can tell by the pictures that they had a great time!
"DOCTOR"
A couple weeks ago Dash pulled Chris's anatomy book off the book shelf and started looking at it. He kept asking Chris what everything was and what it did. Chris taught him the medical terms for his body. Dash loved it. For days all he wanted to do was study his "skeleton book". But being a book full of subjects we do not wish to teach or discuss with him yet I decided to go to the library and get a kids anatomy book. I found some great ones. One book in particular is his favorite. He carried it around with him for about a week straight. He even took it to bed with him. When ever I tell him to be careful so he doesn't get hurt he always asks "will it break my skeleton?" The kid is obsessed! So naturally he changed his mind from fire fighter to doctor so he can see skeletons."BASEBALL PLAYER"
I took Dash to the Clippers baseball game last night. This was the first time he has ever been to a real baseball game. It was so fun. It rained pretty much the whole time, but that didn't dampen his spirit. If anything it made it even more fun. He was even featured on the jumbo tron for a good minute or so. The whole night he told me that that he was going to be a baseball player when he grew up. I totally think he should too. The boy has a great talent for baseball. At four years old he has a great arm and hits the ball almost every time it is thrown to him. No T-ball for him. He just wants "real baseball".
