Catching up January!

Well this is what I get for waiting so long to post a blog. I have a ton to write about! I will try not to ramble however I make no promises.

We were able to go home for Christmas this year. We were there for 20 glorious days. It was so much fun to see everyone and show off Miley to the family for the first time. Miley was blessed on December 23rd. Thanks again Amber for letting us into your lovely home for the blessing, and a bit of a get together with mine and Chris’s family. Thank you Tami for letting us use your beautiful blessing dress. We really appreciate everyone that were able to come and those who would have liked to be there. We thank you all for your support.

Dash is now officially potty trained! There was much weeping, whaling, and gnashing of teeth that went into the whole process, but in the end he decided when he was ready. He decided while in the Las Vegas airport that it was ok to poop in the toilet. We haven’t had any accidents since. (Knock on wood)

We are a busy, busy Klan! Chris is back in school and with his heaviest load of classes since he started Optometry School he is gone 11 hours a day 6 days a week. He is doing really well and studying hard.

So now that I am essentially a single parent for awhile I decided to escape the isolation, get out of the house and get a job! I am working 3 days (9 hours) a week at a fitness center in Dublin, OH. This is a very small, very new gym, family owned gym. I am working in the day care. The great thing is I get to bring my own kids with me, there are not many children that come so most of the time I am being paid to watch my own kids. I also get a free membership! So on the days that I am not working I am working out. Win, win, win situation. My kids get to play, I make some extra cash, and I am getting in shape. If anyone is looking for an awesome fitness center, Pulse is were it is at! All of the equipment is state of the art and the trainers and classes are fantastic! If you want more info about Pulse Fitness Center let me know.

This is kind of the brief over view of January. I will fill in the blanks when I can. But I better finish this blog while Dash and Miley are still napping.

I added these pictures just because I thought they were cute. Dash got the 24 hour flu a couple weeks ago and wanted to go out side so badly but didn't feel like running around. He just wanted to take his Spiderman couch outside and hold a stick. I love this boy! He smiles even when he is feeling crummy!
